One of the markers of world-class worship is that it’s consistently good. Week in and out, God seems to show up, people are energetically participating and it looks and feels so easy. If you’ve been a part of a worship team for any amount of time you know what I’m talking about. It’s energising when we have a weekend where worship is off the charts good. But then the next week, it feels like we start again and we can’t quite put our finger on why last week was great. Was it the leader? The songs? The weather?! Was it that God was just with us in a more tangible way?

These could all be factors for sure, but I believe there are things we can do to ensure consistently great times of worship and I want to share five key things with you today that I have found to be true. I’m sure you’ll think of others to add to this list but these things are the foundational things that make the difference. And these are things that you can work on and work towards to achieve consistency in your times of worship.

This week’s training is about cultivating consistently great times of worship. Consistency in our worship helps create expectation for the next time. I share five key things I believe create that consistency.
