One of the most telling signs that worship has taken place is participation. When there is high participation, you can hear people singing, people feel free to raise their hands or respond in whichever way they feel to and there’s an energy in the room. In gaps between songs or in a musical interlude, there’s an eruption of worship and people are praying and singing to God from their heart. People require very little encouragement to do something in response to God’s presence. You still need to lead but they’re with you and are quick to respond.

In this episode I’ve intentionally focused in on three barriers that all have to do with us as the leader. Fix these and many of the other barriers fall away.
